wHAT IS OVERCONSUMPTION?
Overconsumption occurs when the use of a natural resource is used too much and becomes unsustainable. Here at Pedro Salinas, we have seen the issue of overconsumption because of the cafeteria waste and paper wasted in the classroom. When overconsumption keeps happening, it causes resources to run out. This affects schools like ours and it needs to be solved to give students a better environment to study.
If people really takes the overconsumption seriously we could stop this earlier but most of the people doesn’t care about the pollution in the enviroment. Overconsumption not only affects the enviroment, it affects to the economy too, if people still overconsuming the resources will dissapear slowly and the prizes of the food will be a lot more expensive.
